Buen Camino – Mindfulness in Motion

The “Camino de Santiago” in Germany is known as Jakobsweg

El Camino de Santiago de Compostela (in English: The Way of St. James) is a network of trails across Spain and most of the rest of Europe which all lead to Santiago de Compostela, in the northwest of Spain. In the Middle Ages, these trails were traveled mostly on foot in a pilgrimage to the tomb of the apostle St. James.

El Camino de Santiago has been declared World Heritage by UNESCO and the First European Cultural Itinerary.

In Germany, this network of trails is known as Jakobswege, connecting to neighbouring countries like Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic to the East, Denmark to the North and France, Belgium and The Netherlands to the west.
